Thai Yoga Massage –  a lazy person’s yoga 🙂

Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient art of healing based on the Indian system of yoga and Ayurveda.

The main aim of this massage is to restore balance in the energy system which comprises a multitude of energy lines that run through the body. They are known as meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Thai Yoga Massage we called them Sen linens. What flows through this energy lines is the vital life force known as Prana in Sanscrit or Qi in Chinese.

Blockages in this energy system created by physical or emotional trauma, bad posture as well as harmful habits can cause various pains and diseases. Thai Yoga Massage is a powerful tool used to release the blocked energy and restore balance and harmony in your body.

Freeing up the flow of vital energy in the body improves posture, breathing, flexibility, digestion and circulation. Thai Yoga Massage can relieve muscle tightness as well as the loss of flexibility. It can also help you with aches and stiffness.

Each Thai Yoga Massage treatment is designed to suit individual client needs. Contrary to popular massage treatments, you lie on the mat dressed in light clothes. The therapist uses their fingers, thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees and feet to apply a combination of acupressure, gentle rocking and twisting, joint and spine mobilizations as well as assisted yoga stretches. This releases blocked energy and frees the body's healing potential, restoring balance and harmony.
